Why do people toil through emotionly draining relationships by themselves? There could actually be any number of reasons..a sense of security(both/either emotional,financially), a sense of loyalty, fear of starting over. The point is, we do it. Or at least I use to do it. I've decided that feeling lonely when I am alone is bareable, but to feel alone when I'm with someone is pretty fucking depressing. As a result, I'm back in the wonderful world of dating. I just spent 3 months pursuing a woman,Kristina, with whom I had been in a childhood romance with, whom unbeknownst to me had no intention of being caught..Did I ignore the obvious signs? Or was I the victim of a drive-by one of Cupid's evil minions...Apparently as the song goes..love really don't live here anymore..
